Summit rocks, Knotts
Knotts is the name given to the area of low, rough fell rising above the scattered community of Firbank in the Lune Valley. On small scale maps it is shown as 305m in height but the larger scales available on Geograph show a 307m spot height hereabouts. The fell is better known for Fox's Pulpit, a small outcrop further west overlooking the Quaker burial ground. Whatever its height, it gives a grand platform for viewing the Howgill Fells.
