Geograph - photograph every grid square

No. 6 (on the right, next to NZ2464 : Sunlight Chambers, 2-4 Bigg Market, NE1) was built in the mid-late 18th C. It is Grade II listed Link (Archive Link ) .

No. 8 (left), also 18th C, is a larger and slightly grander version of No.6; all the windows have fine glazing bars and panes and, as one would expect from its date of construction, the windows diminish in size up the building - see also NZ2464 : 4-6 High Bridge, NE1. The east gable has "tumbled-in" brickwork - see NZ2464 : 8 Bigg Market, NE1 (detail). See also NZ2464 : Cafe Neon, Bigg Market, NE1 (taken earlier when the name had a "C" rather than a "K").
