In April 1989 a joint distribution enterprise between Blackwell and Marston Book Services came into being, with Blackwell Science Ltd taking a 50% shareholding. Of necessity this operation was split between three sites in Oxford, plus the use of remote bulk storage facility outside the city. A major restructuring including the removal to these new headquarters at Osney Mead was completed with only four working days' loss of trading, minimising disruption to clients

SP5005 : New building at the end

From the 1970s until 2003 these were the offices of Blackwell Scientific Publications Ltd (later Blackwell Science). Since 2003 the building has been occupied by the Bodleian Library.
