TQ0172 : Footpath diversion, Windsor Road

taken 9 years ago, near to Hythe End, Windsor And Maidenhead, England

Footpath diversion, Windsor Road
Footpath diversion, Windsor Road
A recently constructed tarmac path leading from the unsurfaced footpath across once of the meadows at Runnymede, to a new pedestrian island in the main road (A308 Windsor road). The original route of the path can be seen at right. I am surprised the National Trust who own this land allowed a tarmac path.
