South over Zig-zag Bridge - Perry Barr, Birmingham
A view south over the now superseded Zig-zag Bridge at Perry Barr, Birmingham. This was a crossing of the River Tame here which has been replaced by a 1930s bridge carrying the A453 Aldridge Road and traffic on its way towards Birmingham. This bridge was built in 1711 and is now restricted to pedestrian traffic only. This spot is known as Perry Bridges. Time photo taken 1.35 pm BST (British Summer Time).
