Strathleven House
Strathleven House
Strathleven House is a unique example of a Palladian country house - one of only three surviving examples in Scotland. Attributed to the architect James Smith, the house was completed around 1700 and was occupied until the 1950s. It lay neglected until sympathetically restored to its former glory by the current owners, the Scottish Historic Buildings Trust in 2000-01.
