Capel Seion/Zion Chapel
Capel Seion/Zion Chapel
Siloam Baptist Chapel was built in 1819 as Seion Calvinistic Methodist Chapel and rebuilt in 1841 in the Simple Round-Headed and Vernacular style of the short-wall entry type. The chapel was rededicated in 1841 as Siloam Particular Baptist Chapel and later used as a Women's Institute Hall and then a private residence. The chapel is square in shape with three aisles. When it is open it houses an exhibition of Welsh nonconformity; photographs of the school, village and local people.
