Lindisfarne Castle on Holy Island viewed from the west. The castle was renovated by Sir Edwin Lutyens for its new owner, Edward Hudson, a publishing magnate and the owner of Country Life who bought the castle in 1901. Today the castle is owned by the National Trust.
