NZ0252 : Greylag Goose at Derwent Reservoir

taken 10 years ago, near to Carterway Heads, Northumberland, England

Greylag Goose at Derwent Reservoir
Greylag Goose at Derwent Reservoir
The water level is particularly low at present, and the bay into which the Cronkley Burn empties is practically dry and covered with fine grass. This Greylag Goose was sitting out, enjoying the sunshine. There were many hundreds more out on the water.
