Queen Elizabeth's Bedroom, Burghley House
Queen Elizabeth's Bedroom, so named because it was the room that would have been used by Queen Elizabeth 1st, contains a 17th century state bed. Queen Elizabeth had intended to visit Burghley House but because of a smallpox outbreak she changed her plans. For view of the Pagoda Room refer to picture TF0406 : The Pagoda Room, Burghley House.
