NY7543 : Grassy moorland beyond ruined wall

Grassy moorland beyond ruined wall
Grassy moorland beyond ruined wall
The ruinous wall was reached on a walk from the high point of Middle Fell which lies to the north - behind the camera position. The ground was grassy throughout but on Middle Fell and heading south from there could not quite be called moorland. By the time this wall was reached the nature of the ground was changing and to call it moorland from there onwards seems appropriate. Nunnery Hill lies in the distance.
