Ascending path
As shown in NS4665 : Descending path (a view back down from the top of this slope), the view is from the end of a boardwalk that is shown in NS4665 : Paisley Moss Local Nature Reserve.
Followed in the direction shown in the present picture, this path soon emerges from the trees; from there on, it is the path that is shown heading from directly ahead in NS4765 : Path to nature reserve and business park, leading towards the sign shown in that picture. From that point, it continues towards St Andrew's Crescent, and to the built-up part of the airport, as shown in NS4765 : Path to Glasgow Airport.

Paisley Moss Local Nature Reserve
The site, part of Glasgow Airport, was declared a Local Nature Reserve in 1993. It lies between one of the airport's runways and a sliproad of the M8 Motorway, but it can be reached by means of a path from St Andrew's Crescent. A boardwalk, added in 2009, leads around the reserve.
