This model bus was appropriately placed in the Olympic Park where team GB had won so many medals in 2012.
Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park

The park was built as part of the venue for the 2012 Summer Olympic and Paralympic Games, and was further developed over a number of years after the games.

Three significant buildings used during the games can be found in the park, including the Olympic stadium, Aquatics Centre, and Velodrome, as well as The ArcelorMittal Orbit sculpture.

The River Lea also runs through the site.

Year of the bus

Following a now well established tradition of city trails featuring identical models painted in different colours around a theme, sixty model London buses were placed around the city and in the Olympic Park, from 20 October 2014 for seven weeks.
