SW7450 : The Old Post Office, Mithian by redrat
An excellent source of information is "Mithian" by Tony Mansell, ISBN 0-9545583-0-8, Published by Trelease Publications, The Orchard, Mithian, St Agnes, TR5 0QF. He identifies the thatched building as Whitewalls Cottages, and The Old Post Office is within the nearest unit of the larger Whitewalls structure. The Post Office moved to the end of Mithian lane, at Barkla Shop, in 1967. See

Mansell identifies the stone fronted building as the Mithian Village Hall, so named starting in the 198os but originally built as the Men's Institute in 1893, with help from John Passmore Edwards. The porch was added between 1907 and 1915.
