HMY Britannia in London for the very last time - 11/97
The Royal Yacht was on a paying-off voyage around the UK and this was her London swansong. A little later my party was deep inside the bowels of the ship inspecting her machinery and getting photographs. We were not allowed in the Royal areas but to be frank that was not the purpose of the visit. The vessel is now preserved in Leith and I have visited but it's not the same!
