Former Penparcau Tollhouse in St Fagans National History Museum, Cardiff
An information board states that the tollhouse was erected in Penparcau, Aberystwyth in 1771. The first tolls were collected on March 23rd 1772. After closure in 1889, the building was a dwelling from 1890-1960.
In 1962, the building was offered to the museum by the Ministry of Transport.
The tollhouse opened at the museum in 1968.
