High Wycombe: Chiltern Main Line
High Wycombe: Chiltern Main Line
This is the view from the pedestrian footbridge on the west side of the A404 Amersham Hill/Crendon Street road bridge. At its running peak there used to be four lines through here enabling fast through trains to overtake slower ones stopping at SU8693 : High Wycombe railway station. The retaining wall on the right is said to be the highest in Europe.
