St Margaret's church, Quadring

Grade I listed.
The church is mentioned in the Domesday Book when the Bishop of Lincoln was obliged to build a church.
The church dates from the 14th C. onwards, the octagonal spire is from 15th C.
The nave has an embattled clerestory with 8 triple light windows.
Inside there is a nave with four bay arcades.
The chancel east wall was rebuilt in the 19th C., and the roof, and nave aisle roofs are from that time.
The church was restored in 1862.

There is an interesting turret to the rood loft stairs, although the rood is now gone.
The font is 15th C.
There are several 20th C. stained glass windows by Lemmon.
