This solid property close to the town centre at No 12 South Street is known as Stone House and dates from the late 18th century. The building is Grade II listed with many period features including ashlar rusticated quoins, a steep pitched pantile roof and three dormer windows, and has been used as a shop in past times but is now a private house.
