Former central fire station

Now a bar in the city's entertainment district, the fire station was replaced by this new building SK3587 : South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service in 1985. This move was not well planned as the site was required for a retail development (which, in 2015, is yet to materialise) and a second new station was opened here SK3586 : Sheffield fire station HQ in 2009.
