Cooling towers at Rugeley Power Station
This is Rugeley B power station built between 1970 and 1972. (Rugeley A opened in 1963 and has since been demolished). It is coal-fired and was originally supplied with coal from a local colliery directly by conveyor belt. Since 2009, the flue gases have been desulphurised.
