In the background can be seen Porthclais farm which is on the hill above SM7424, Porthclais harbour. In the distance can be seen the coast on the other side of St Brides Bay.

There is an interesting sign by the cottage gate: "William Lewis. Healing hand power. Greater than Dewi Sant [Saint David, the local hero] and British Empire."
