The King’s Lynn War Memorial is located in Tower (Greyfriars) Gardens, close to the Greyfriars Tower. It was constructed of Portland stone and was erected in 1921.
The memorial’s pedestal is set on an octagonal plinth with three steps. On the pedestal is a square base carrying an octagonal shaft terminating in a Latin Cross. It is Grade II Listed (English Heritage Building ID: 384290

The memorial is inscribed:
“Erected by the Citizens of King’s Lynn to the memory of their gallant comrades who fell in the Great War 1914 – 1918”
In 1949, following World War II, a further inscription was added:
“In the memory of all who lost their lives by enemy action”
