This image was taken from beneath the Nene Viaduct, which was built by Sir William Cubitt (17851861) and his son Joseph Cubitt (1811-1872) for the Great Northern Railway (GNR) and was completed in 1849. A Grade II listed structure, it is the last remaining cast iron bridge on a British main railway line.
