Garston Bus Depot, Herts (1)
Situated in St Albans Road, this bus depot was opened on the 18th June 1952 replacing the one in Leavesden Road, Link refers. It provides about 90 red buses for the Transport for London contracted services in North West London, in addition to the 40 or so turquoise buses for services in the Watford area. Mobile phone aerials can be seen on the roof of Marchwood House, whilst 5mph speed limit signs have been fixed to the gates of the North entrance to the bus depot. Update: this bus depot closed on Friday 31st August 2018 with routes and vehicles being transferred to other depots.
