Beverley Conservation Areas 1-9, East Yorkshire

Beverley has an architectural and historic interest that puts it amongst the most impressive British towns of similar size. It still retains its historic integrity based on its medieval roots and has fine architectural examples from Georgian, Victorian and earlier periods. Its high points are the Minster and St. Mary’s Church which are linked by market places and streets lined with shops and other commercial properties.
