The Blues and Royals remember the 1982 Hyde Park bombing
On the 20th July 1982 a Provisional IRA bomb planted here killed four soldiers and seven horses. The event is marked by a memorial by South Carriage Drive bordering Hyde Park. To commemorate the outrage a service was held, followed by a parade of military bands. Link
