PS Waverley passing Port Glasgow :: NS3275

This is a series of photos which shows the Waverley heading back up the Clyde to Glasgow on a dull August evening. Viewed from the slipway at Newark Castle, with the Arrochar Alps providing a stunning backdrop.

PS Waverley is the last sea-going paddle steamer in the world LinkExternal link . Based in Glasgow, she operates mostly in and around the Clyde, but makes regular excursions to the south of England.
