The building looks as though it is part of a former army camp. On the left is a former primary school. On the right beneath the Welsh flag is a tablet in memory of Private Thomas Collins from Camrose who was the sole Pembrokeshire representative at the Battle of Rorke's Drift on 22/23 January 1879.
