The Rocket has departed
The Rocket has departed
The Rocket public house, a locally listed building which stood between the row of flats and the bus stop, was demolished in August 2015. Originally The Railway Inn, it was contemporary with the first Coventry rail station of 1838 which stood alongside but was demolished c. 1959. The wall on the right is part of the parapet of the Warwick Road bridge over the Coventry-Birmingham railway line.
