Tal-y-Llyn......Llyn Mwyngil
Tal-y-Llyn lake, also known as Llyn Mwyngil.
The lake is situated at the foot of Cadair Idris, in the Snowdonia mountain range of Gwynedd, Wales.
Looking north-east up the Bwlch Llyn Bach pass from the southwest end of the lake.
The River Dysynni flows from this end of the lake, through the village of Abergynolwyn, and discharges into the sea north of Tywyn.
The narrow gauge Tal-y-llyn Railway has its eastern terminus at nearby Abergynolwyn
a little further down the valley
