Naval War Memorial, Chatham
The obilisk dates from 1920-4 and the surrounding walls (along with the pavilion seen on the right) behind it from after the Second War. The memorial is set in what is now the Great Lines Country Park, a grassy downland ridge that rises from the midst of a densely populated urban area.
