The Nationwide branch, at the corner of Donegall Square South, appears to be the last occupant of the former Scottish Mutual building. It seems likely that the office will soon move to new premises at Donegall Square North J3374 : Donegall House (shopfitting), Belfast (September 2015).
The proposed Scottish Mutual hotel site, Belfast

An imposing sandstone, turreted structure at the corner of Donegall Square South and Bedford Street, the Scottish Temperance (later Scottish Mutual) Buildings were built in 1904 to a design by Henry Seaver and remain “as built”. It was reported (July 2013) that the intention is to convert the building into a hotel incorporating ground-floor bars and restaurants.
