Plastic ducks, River Churn, South Cerney
Several hundred yellow plastic ducks are launched into the tributary of the Thames on the occasion of the South Cerney village festival. Visitors are able to take a punt on the outcome. The first duck past the finishing post after having navigated various ingenious traps wins the lucky holder of the corresponding ticket a valuable cash prize.
