Two Temple Place
In 1895 when he moved to England William Waldorf Astor bought the mansion at Two Temple Place and had it rebuilt as an opulent Victorian mansion to be his London residence and office. The architect was John Loughborough Pearson. The interior has opulent wood panelling and carving, there are stained glass windows. The house is now owned by the charitable Bulldog Trust, used for exhibitions, private events, and occasional openings for public or Friends of Two Temple Place.
