taken 11 years ago, near to Pudsey, Leeds, England

Bramley station, looking east
Bramley station, looking east
The original Bramley station, west of Swinnow Road bridge, was closed in 1966. A new station was opened on 12 September 1983, consisting of an eastbound platform on the original site, and this westbound platform east of the bridge. The station is unstaffed and does not even have a ticket machine, only simple platforms and basic shelters.

The nearer bridge in this view, although apparently built to carry vehicle traffic, is now only a footbridge SE2434 : Footbridge over the railway off Elder Road; the further one carries Hough End Lane SE2434 : Bridge LBE 1/19 - Hough End Lane.
