Amanitas at Abbotsford
Amanitas at Abbotsford
Fly agarics [Amanita muscaria] by the Visitor Centre - just visible in front of the middle tree in NT5034 : Abbotsford Visitor Centre. The round blob behind, which might be mistaken for a puffball, is simply a young specimen, still to expand, so the white all-enveloping veil has not yet split to show the red cap skin underneath.
