Pipeline below
Despite objections from environmental groups LinkExternal link , construction of a SN9828 : High pressure gas main from Milford Haven to Aberdulais has gone ahead. At 1220 mm diameter the pipe is big but even so it is not obvious why it is necessary to completely clear a 40 metre wide swathe of land for it. A traditional Pembrokeshire hedge bank had to be removed and has now been reconstructed.
