Bishop Gate (Bishop Bridge)
Bishop Gate (Bishop Bridge)
The fourteenth century approach to Norwich Cathedral, Bishop Bridge is the only surviving medieval bridge in the city; it spans the River Wensum at the western edge of Norwich's Cathedral Quarter. It was built in 1340 and is still in use, making it one of the oldest active bridges in England.

The bridge is a grade II* listed building (English Heritage Building ID: 228824 LinkExternal link British Listed Buildings).
