This is the view from Belgrave Circle looking north along Belgrave Road.
A big wheel measuring 100 ft (30 m) in diameter has been erected on Belgrave Road (the Golden Mile) for the city's Diwali celebrations.
Leicester's Diwali celebrations are the largest outside India, more than 35,000 people attended the 2015 switch-on of the lights.
