St. Mary's Church, Newchurch-in-Pendle
There has been a church on this site since 1250 but St. Mary's dates from 1544. Behind the porch is the gravestone of Ellin Nutter dated 1651. She may be a relative of Alice Nutter, who was convicted at the infamous Pendle Witch Trials.
