Riding Wood from Ramsden Road
Riding Wood from Ramsden Road
A newly re-planted section of the wood is visible behind the boundary wall running left to right. The boundary wall follows the line of the lower section of Ramsden Road. The A6024 road climbing Holme Moss can be seen on the far hillside, below Kaye Edge. The Holme Moss transmitting tower first transmitted 405 line television in the 1950s.
