On the corner of Canterbury Road, High Street and Adisham Road the Inn is dated 1286 and was used in the 1944 classic film by Michael Powell and Emeric Pressburger 'A Canterbury Tale'. Appearing as 'The Hand of Glory' the pub was used for interior shots including the stained glass windows.
