On the River Foss and photographed from a public house's yard. According to fellow Geograph member Paul Harrop - 19th century building, originally known as Leetham's Mill. Rowntree and Co took over the building in 1937 and until 1967 thousands of tons of ingredients, including cocoa beans and gum arabic, were shipped from Hull docks up to the landing stage.

More recently, the building has been converted into offices and flats, and is now known as Rowntree Wharf. See - SE6051 : Rowntree Wharf and the Foss, York.
