Howsham Mill
Howsham Mill
Magnificently restored former corn mill on the Howsham estate and now generating hydroelectricity. I turned up for a look not expecting to get in and somebody appeared with a key and was very helpful and informative. As often happens in these circumstances, initial suspicion was replaced by genuine helpfulness when he realised that my intentions were honourable and I knew something about mills.
