SD3393 : Cloak of Seasons

taken 10 years ago, near to Grizedale, Cumbria, England

Cloak of Seasons
Cloak of Seasons
Part of the Grizedale sculpture project, "Cloak of Seasons" by Walter Bailey, sits against a backdrop of tall trees. In contrast to the concentric circles of this east facing surface, on the other side the cut out sections radiate from the central hole. You can just make this out if you look carefully but SD3393 : Grizedale Forest sculpture shows this clearly. The sculpture was created in 1995 and has survived the elements over the last 20 years extremely well.
