Bramley station, viewed from a footbridge
The original Bramley station, west of Swinnow Road bridge, was closed in 1966. A new station was opened on 12 September 1983, consisting of an eastbound platform on the original site, and the westbound platform east of the bridge (nearest the camera in this photo). The station is unstaffed and does not even have a ticket machine, only simple platforms and basic shelters. For a view in the other direction from the platform, see SE2434 : Bramley station, looking east.
