Despite recent heavy rain, the stream is surprisingly clear. This is due to the fact that its spring is only some 100 metres upstream. The stream belongs to the local Parish Council who have recently carried out enhancements to the stream, to create viable wildlife habitat and a pleasant walkway. LinkExternal link
