Path to Pont Llanelltyd
Pont Llanelltyd (Old Llanelltyd Bridge) once carried the main road over the Afon Mawddach . Since the A470 was diverted, traffic no longer crosses the bridge and it is now only used as a footbridge. The bridge is thought to date from the latter part of the eighteenth century although there may have been a bridge near Cymer Abbey in 1400.
