The confluence of Shaw's Clough and Old Eli Clough, Sowerby
On the Explorer map it looks as if the Sowerby Bridge FP127 crosses both streams and dives into the rushes on the right, but the council's rights-of-way map shows it following the east (left) side of the stream for a while before crossing it (when it becomes Ripponden FP1) and going up the hillside through the bracken. The 1890 1:2500 map shows a footbridge where the path crosses the stream.
